Kenya Tobacco has personally affected a loved friend of mine, and that is, my Father. I am not sure I know when he started smoking, but I know, it is about 40 years l was a junior in school. To date, the man is a sick father, heavily addicted, suffering from continuous coughs, and lung problems his medication has not been cheap for us. A loved friend in our close urban community, who has smoked for a long time, is now heavily addicted. His name. David, David used to smoke over 30 sticks a day and now takes only 10 sticks or less a day to keep his addiction on. He says, smoking is a big problem, spoils friendship, since your body including the mouth is smelling. He cannot even kiss his wife because of cigarette smoking. His appetite is completely ruined since food is no longer tasty but eats to keep a live. Tobacco industry must be controlled at any costs to save our lives and in this regard Centre for Tobacco-Free Education and Development wholly supports the WHO Framework Convention for Tobacco Control.
