Status of Philip Morris External Research Program

Nearly 20 researchers listed as peer reviewers in the Philip Morris External Research Program's have informed Essential Action and participants in its Global Partnerships for Tobacco Control project that they will not peer review for Philip Morris! One of these researchers (MaryJane Selgrade) is a branch chief for the EPA; two others are Harvard researchers (Harriet Burge, Petros Koutrakis). This number also includes 3 researchers who did not agree (or do not remember agreeing) to serve as peer reviewers, but whose names were listed anyway.
